We recently unveiled our development roadmap for the next nine months, and we thought an update about our progress was in order.
No need to manually publish pages – just set the schedule!
Now when a teacher creates a page in her Haiku class she can specify when the page will be available to her class and when it will expire. That means she doesn’t have to remember to log in to make material available or to take it down. It’s a feature our users have been asking for, and one that enables them to set the pace so that content reveals itself over time and hides itself when obsolete.
See auto-publish in action in this video tutorial.
Many user accounts, one email address (if you’d like)
Members of the Haiku LMS community told us that sometimes they need one user to have the same email address as another user, and now they can! Parents/guardians can sign up for separate Haiku LMS accounts with the same email address, or students can use their parent’s email address if they don’t have one of their own.
What’s with our blog?
If you follow our blog, you may have noticed a few hiccups in the last few days, and that’s because we switched to a different (better!) platform. Everything is good to go now. Not only does it look a lot better, it’s easier for you to use — you can even log in with your Facebook or Twitter account or with OpenID to leave comments.
