Announcements

How can you quickly spread the news without sending out an email and a text and a . . . you get the idea.

With Haiku LMS, you can post reminders and announcements that appear as soon as students log into your class. They can opt to get them as email and text, too!

Calendar

Online calendars are so often so unruly.

Haiku's calendar is simple. If you are short on time, use the Quick-Add feature to add your events in plain language. If you have more to say, enter in detailed events or assignments using the standard method. It really is that simple.

(And if you're using Roster Sections,  you can have a calendar for each!)

Content Blocks

It's so frustrating to create web pages when you don't know HTML—and sometimes even when you do!

Haiku solves that problem with Content Blocks. Add all the content you want—text, pictures, audio, video, HTML files, and so on—without having to write a single line of code. Share content with other teachers, too. Even edit images on the fly with Aviary.

Design Skins

Your site's appearance reflects on you. How do you make an attractive web site without being a design expert?

Haiku LMS currently includes 30 Skin Designs, so all you need to do is choose! (And you can always change your mind and change the skin!)

Drag & Drop Layout

Again, with the HTML and design dilemma! How do you position information without digging into the code or conforming to a prescribed format?

Organize your class across multiple pages, dragging and dropping Content Blocks and Pages in the order you want. Click. Drag. Drop.

Pages

You just need a simple page. Or an intricate page. Either way, it's not rocket science. Pages make it so simple.

Haiku LMS centers around your content. Using Pages you can quickly create a page and add content using Blocks. You choose (and can change) the layout, add (and organize) the content, and publish (even automatically!) when you're ready! Oh, and if you've created websites elsewhere in HTML you can import them into Haiku LMS with our MiniSites feature.

Portal

Other systems organize by lists. if you have more than one class you only have a list of links that you click to see more info—you have to compile info from multiple classes yourself!

Not with Haiku LMS. Your portal is truly yours—it shows only information specific to your Haiku classes. See your latest scores, grades, announcements, and other pertinent information. Each item links to more information, so when you see something that needs more context, just click to get the full details.
